I think there are often situations where it makes sense for graphic elements to be pushed into the picture and not drawn. This is possible in other applications such as doodlemaker or Vyond.

Have an option to remove the arm from the moving hand
This would speed up the image processing and avoid having an out of focus arm. I am sure the moving hand will still focus the viewer's attention. After all, you don't show the body!
