we need grid lines or pop-up space lines to be able to see where items are in reference to each other. Eyeballing it is a messy solution. PPT does this and Doodly is basically taking the place of ppt in some ways, so that feature needs to be here.

At the top left-hand side of the scene that you are working on there is a "show grid" option.
